Configuration option 'show advanced options' changed from...

As I browse the LiteSpeed UI (7.5.0.539) for an instance, several pairs of these messages are written to the SQL Server log for that instance. What is LiteSpeed doing that requires making changes in SQL Server (and then setting them back) just to display data?
